Invitation to Edit diverse pages[edit]

I've noticed you're really active in Wikipedia and I'm new here. I've contributed to some articles and would really appreciate your input on any of the subjects that might interest you:

  • 1. Desafuero. I put some comments on the discussion page.
  • 2. Carlos Salinas. Made some heavy edits: contributed to the discussion on the December Mistakes, added references to other Salinas controversies, etc.
  • 3. TV Azteca. Added a section on the Privatization and related scandal.
  • 4. Cantinflas. Minor miscellaneous changes.
  • 5. Cronopio. Created stub article for these fictional creatures in Julio Cortazar's work.
  • 6. Placebo. Changed structure of the entry, added sections, etc.

Angelica Maria[edit]

How is she considered a Mexican-American actress and not a Mexican actress? I mean, of course she was born in the United States but has she done any acting there? Was she raised there? I would consider her a Mexican, but not Mexican-American, unless she has Mexican parents but that is not stated. Her father is a German-American and her mother could be anything for all we know. So she would be considered an American-Mexican, not a Mexican-American. >>> Sagitario 18:11, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In that case, she sould only be in the categories; Mexican actors (because she was raised in Mexico, where she also began her career) and American actors (because she was born in the US). I think the whole "Mexican American actors, singers, artists, etc." categories are not needed. You don't see categories like those on Italian Americans, French Americans, etc. In fact, no matter what the occupation of the person is, they're all categorized in the same category. Category:Italian-Americans includes singers, actors, artists, politicians, etc. There's no need for those special categories in my opinion. >>> Sagitario 18:45, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

UMM...[edit]

Galician-Mexicans, Basque Mexicans, and Catalonian-Mexicans? Don't you think that's a little too much? We all know that those are regions in Spain so why not just categorize them under Spanish Mexicans? What's Next? Castillian-Mexicans? or even Roman and Sicilian-Mexicans? >>> Sagitario 02:31, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you keep creating these un-needed categories? It's not like they'll ever be filled enough to be considered "categories". Just categorize those people in Spanish Mexicans. You might as well just quit, they'll probably be nominated for deletion soon anyway. >>> Sagitario 21:55, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Well, i DO consider them un-needed (and exagerated), as well as some other other "Mexican American actors" etc. categories. I'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks this, and you're not the only one who edits here so don't get mad if i make a few changes to your articles/categories. If you don't like it then sorry but don't edit. >>> Sagitario 22:18, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Diesel Nacional[edit]

Hi - I just moved an article that was created as Dina Viaggo (sic) to DINA S.A., then discovered an article you had contributed to called Diesel Nacional. They are for the same company, but I wanted to get your opinion on which we should delete. I think most in the US know the company as DINA, through their one-time stake in Motor Coach Industries and the imported motor coach DINA Viaggio. Do you have an opinion?
