Hello, DanielRigal
Thank you for your response and guidance on my recent edits to the Blåhaj page. I understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the need for reliable and reputable sources.
I would like to seek further clarification on one point. If this event were to be covered by English language media, would that then meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia? I am currently in the process of reaching out to English language media outlets for coverage of the event.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Wbc123wong (talk) 17:56, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter whether the coverage is in English. It is more convenient if it is but other languages are OK for sources. The key point is that it needs to be what we consider to be a Reliable Source.
There is another problem here. It sounds like you are associated with the event itself. That makes things more difficult as there is a conflict of interests.
Here is what I suggest:
  1. First try to find coverage that meets our definition of Reliable.
  2. Then post a message on the Talk page of the article with those sources and asking if this is enough to justify inclusion.
I don't think you will be able to get your full text with the pictures in but if you can get some News coverage then it might be possible to add a sentence or two. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:05, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
