Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Bonadea (talk) 08:50, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here.

Request reason:

We suggested the external links to www.whatadultmagazines.com because we thought that they would be relevant to each of the entries we had observed. If you visit the site, you should see that there is no commercial aim as it is merely intended to be a comprehensive collection of humourous reviews. Suggested new username is "henry_g"

Decline reason:

Since you seem to be saying that, if unblocked, you would continue using Wikipedia to promote your web site, an unblock would not be appropriate at this time. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:51, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

We appreciate your comments. We draw your attention to the external link to "We Love Mags / Colophon — International Magazine Symposium and online Magazine Directory" listed under the article for "Magazine". This serves a similar purpose to our own, so we cannot understand why this has been allowed and ours has not. We confirm that we have no commercial content. We independently review adult magazines. As your definition of an encyclopedia, you are a provider of knowledge, even in these areas. You currently do not have a great deal of coverage on this subject, and we believe that we genuinely have the ability to add to your knowledge base. Please advise.

Decline reason:

The existence of one link does not justify the existence of another. This account is clearly intended to promote one particular website, and from the repeated use of "we" also appears to be a role account. --Kinu t/c 13:29, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
