Edit-warring

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Independent American Party of Nevada. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Orange Mike | Talk 05:50, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am new to editing. I am sorry if I violated the rules in any way. I was simply trying to add what should be a non-controvercial FACT to the page. I have attempted to place a this simple fact about the Independent American Party of Nevada on the site and it is continually removed. The addition was: Christopher Hansen, the former State Chairman, started Independent American News http://independentamerican.org in 2008 to cover current Independent American Party issues and candidates. Every word of this statement is true. If Wikipedia is not allowing the truth concerning the Independent American Party history to be placed on the site then what good is Wikipedia and how can it be trusted at all? I would like to know what is my next step to getting this simple fact out about what the former Chairman has done to keep people inform about what is currently happening with the Independent American Party since the Independent American Party web site seldom has updates.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiikwajio (talkcontribs) Wiikwajio (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

That website is really basically a personal blog of Hansen's. It is not an IAPN official website; a lot of the content is not about the AIPN; thus it has no place in this article. All you're really doing (repeatedly, without explanation) is adding a spamlink to the article. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:10, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Reno Gazette Journal, the Las Vegas Sun and the Las Vegas Review Journal all ran the article called "Hansens are the heart of the IAP" http://www.iapn.org/Sep2702.htm So frankly to call the Independent American News web site a Hansen blog is to show to what total lack of understanding you have about the Independent American Party. The Independent American Party was started by the Hansens. Christopher Hansen was 10 years old and was getting signatures to get the IAP on the ballot in 1967 and 68, Dan Hansen was the founder. While Christopher Hansen was State Chairman the party grew by 200%. Joshua Hansen, Nicholas Hansen, Whitney Hansen, Jonathan Hansen, Joel Hansen, Danny Hansen, Ruth Hansen, Gregory Hansen, Dawn Hansen all have run for office as IAPs. Christopher Hansen ran 6 times as an IAP. Hansens are running for office THIS YEAR include Jonathan Hansen, Congress District One; Janine Hansen, Assembly; and Joel Hansen for Attorney General. Christopher Hansen, who runs Independent American News, posts articles of interest to Independent Americans because he knows the Independent American Party better then almost anyone in this nation. The Tampa controversy was caused 100% by Christopher Hansen's position on abortion. Independent American News does pages for the IAP candidates and will be posting a page for almost EVERY candidate. IAPN.org will not be doing so. We cover the day to day of the IAP. IAPN.org does not cover the day to day of the party news. To leave all references of Independent American News off the Wikipedia site is to lie about the party.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiikwajio (talkcontribs) Wiikwajio (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

"We"? Oh? Who is this "we" of which you write?--Orange Mike | Talk 04:46, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And I've read that blog. Articles like "Cops viciously assault, kicked detained man" about an incident in Virginia, have nothing to do with a political party in Nevada. --Orange Mike | Talk 04:48, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
