October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from International parental abduction in Japan. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Please do not remove content that is supported by references. Prior to making such a removal, please discuss it first on the articles talk page, and reach a consensus with other active editors of the article so the removal is agreed to be in the best interest of the article, thus improving it. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 17:29, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, I have responded to your statement on the talk page of the article in question. I look forward to seeing your response there. Cheers! --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 23:25, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Howdy. It is Vapour. Thanks for joining Wikipedia. I've added citation tag on that documentary film for lack of "verifiable" citation. (Wikipedia:Verifiability) Wikipedia articles rely on open and free contribution from online community, i.e. anyone and everyone. So edits have to have external verification from "reliable" entities. Reliable source include such entities like media, academia and public institutions (such as govt, U.N., IMF, etc). Please verify the film from these sources. The purpose of the policy is to increase the quality of the article, and to limit soapboxing. Cheers. Vapour (talk) 11:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Again[edit]

It was not me but an I.P. editor from Kansas (216.217.58.142) who made an incorrect change. I'm not out to sabotage you. I sometimes do reverse your edit only because its verifiability is somewhat in doubt. For example, I did put [citation needed] tag on that film but it was I who later found verified sources for the film and created a section to specifically highlight it. You may not have enough time to discuss matters in talk page but if you have some complaint, then please come and talk to us in the talk page. It would be a pity if we lose an editor over misunderstanding. Vapour (talk) 01:31, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's my suspicion that Vapour is a Japanese government employee trying to sway opinion in favor of the Japanese government. Our major solution is to simply continue to put verifiable facts into wikipedia as much as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Unthoughtknown (talkcontribs) 19:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
