Image copyright problem with Image:Joseph Dempsie.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Joseph Dempsie.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 19:46, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Joseph Dempsie
[edit]As I'm sure you can appreciate, Wikipedia receives hundreds of new image uploads every day, not all of which comply with copyright laws. With reference to the image of Joseph Dempsie that you have uploaded, I note this image is available at http://www.troikatalent.com/MD/Dempsie_Joseph.htm. Unfortunately, due to the number of occasions when users upload images with false claims as to their source, could I ask whether it would be possible to help me to clarify your claim is genuine.
I presume that the photograph was commissioned by TROIKA and so if I contact them I will be able to find out who the photographer is and whether the way in which they were contracted to photograph this individual permits them to release the image under this licence.
Could you confirm you are indeed the photographer before I go any further? Thank you. Adambro (talk) 20:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
