Tufts Historical Review
[edit]I see that you have re-created this article, but unfortunately, there is no indication of notability. Please read that, because "notability" has a special meeting in Wikipedia. If a subject is not notable in that sense, an article should not be created on that subject. The Tufts Historical Review seems to have existed only since 2007 and the article does not give any indication that this journal fulfils any of the conditions for notability. Please add sources establishing notability or redirect the journal to the article on Tufts itself again. Thanks! --Crusio (talk) 18:01, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- I know that a lot of effort has gone into this article, which is why I not simply redirected it to Tufts again. But all that effort is not, unfortunately, a good reason to keep the article. Also, you are mistaken that the notoriety of the people on the board says something about the journal's notability, it does not. So please do provide some evidence why this journal is notable and why there should be an encyclopedic article about it. (PS: please sign any postings you make on talk pages by adding 4 tildes at the end of your comment (or simply click the signature icon above the edit window). --Crusio (talk) 22:07, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
The article Tufts Historical Review has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable journal (tagged for notability since 2013). Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 08:24, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
