A tag has been placed on Kathy Rudkin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 7107Lecker Tischgespräch, außerdem... 10:05, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kathy Rudkin[edit]

Hi Xmlgod! Copyright issues aside, Kathy Rudkin currently has a problem in that it doesn't indicate why Rudkin is notable. Coverage by reliable sources is usually a good starting point for verifying notability, but some statement, for example "Rudkin is best known for for her invention of quintuple-entry bookkeeping" or somesuch asserts notability, which should then be backed up with verifiable citations. Speedy[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Kathy Rudkin, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. --SquidSK (1MClog) 11:39, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I was told to remove it by an earlier helper. Happy to leave it in. (Xmlgod (talk) 11:44, 19 December 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I have nominated Kathy Rudkin, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kathy Rudkin. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. --SquidSK (1MClog) 15:22, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Kathy Rudkin. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. --SquidSK (1MClog) 18:27, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it by accident. It won't happen again. (Xmlgod (talk) 21:57, 21 December 2009 (UTC))[reply]
