Hi Xmort, I would like to use the nice picture oft the gene gun that you provided in the article of german wikipedia. It would be great if you could upload it to commons. Of course I could do myself, but I think it is better if the original author does it him/herself. Thanks a lot! --Nina 15:03, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! I will try to put it in the right category, but I'm also not sure wich one to take. --Nina 04:59, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I'm a totally random user, but thanks for the E6/E7 diagram - it's very helpful to bio newbies.
The sentence was clearly mistranlated, misunderstood or something like that (and also OT for the article). Thanks for catching that. Pavel Vozenilek 18:45, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Gene Gun
[edit]The picture you show for the gene gun is actually the PDS-1000/He particle delivery system. The Helios gene gun (it's actual name) looks like a gun (see www.bio-rad.com/genetransfer).
Untagged image
[edit]An image you uploaded, Image:Cs-coat.png, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 01:59, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Xmort. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Xmort~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
