Notes

[edit]

Hi! I wanted to leave you a quick note - I'd responded via email but wanted to leave some notes:

  • Since this isn't an anthology series it's not really necessary to list the chapters out. With books like this it's better to fill out the synopsis a little more.
  • Also, if the specified killers or events are mentioned in the book and are of import (ie, not just an offhand mention) then it's better to put those into the synopsis section and have them mentioned in context. Keep in mind that it's not really necessary to mention all of them as true crime books that cover the general topic of true crime will often cover the most well-known and highlighted cases.

My recommendation would be to look for things like reviews of the book as well as some information about the development process, if there's anything out there about this. Also, you could create a section about the publication information, namely when and where the book has been published and in what formats. An example of this can be seen here. Finally, if you're into true crime and want to work on another article after this, the article on the Ann Rule book The Stranger Beside Me definitely needs to be improved. It's kind of surprising that it's in as poor a shape as it is, considering how popular and relatively mainstream it is. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:45, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
