Proposed deletion of Shadow Rap[edit]

The article Shadow Rap has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced WP:NEO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The problem is that the article has no sources; the reader (and other Wikipedia editors) are unable to confirm for themselves that shadow rap both (a) exists and (b) is a significant rap genre. If you aren't able to add any sources (and looking around myself online I'm struggling to find any), the article will have to be deleted. --McGeddon (talk) 07:43, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with McGeddon. As the author, you should be able to find some sources for this. The ones in the article now don't support the claim. I've tried to help and find some, but unfortunately the same term is also used for a popular fishing lure, so results are muddled. In searching on some of the rappers in the genre, I can't find anything that also uses this term, so please help us out and supply some soon. Thanks! Crow Caw 22:10, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
