[edit]Hello, I'm Bahooka. I noticed that you recently removed some content from University of California, Irvine without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, Zottywiki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article University of California, Irvine, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. jfeise (talk) 22:57, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information. We're trying to understand how best to show accurate and updated information on the Wikipedia page. Any suggestions are welcome. There is a lot of information that is inaccurate or just erroneous. And we'd like to be able to add more recent information about the university. Thank you

Shared account
[edit]Hello,
I noticed you used "we" to describe the account owners above. Per Wikipedia policy, accounts are not allowed to be shared between multiple individuals. Please review the username policy carefully before continuing to edit, and please clarify exactly who you are representing. If necessary, you may wish to file for a change of username. James: Thank you for your concern. I use the "we" to mean the university, but I'm the only person using this account.
