Welcome![edit]

Hello, Zriddle, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! McGeddon (talk) 20:25, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:For information contact me Via email., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I assume that you created it in error, but since in its current form it is simply advertising your contact details, I think it can be deleted under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. McGeddon (talk) 20:25, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

December 2012[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on Talk:Real-life superhero, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --Auric 15:54, 8 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the offer about RLSH and contacts, but that's not appropriate for this encyclopedia. You might want to read WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. We couldn't use their comments unless they were published in what we call reliable sources, and article talk pages are for discussion of the article, not the subject of the article.
