Vannette William Johnson is an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Johnson was the head college football coach for the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He held that position for 11 seasons, from 1962 until 1972.[1] His coaching record at Arkansas-Pine Bluff was 53 wins, 47 losses and 6 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2013 season, this ranks him #2 at Arkansas-Pine Bluff in total wins and #5 at the school in winning percentage (.528).[2]
