Višňov
Višňov (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈʋiʂɲɔw]; Hungarian: Visnyó) is a village and municipality in the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-eastern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1270.
Geography
[edit]The village lies at an altitude of 122 metres and covers an area of 4.763 km². It has a population of about 220 people.
Ethnicity
[edit]The village is about 99% Slovak.
Facilities
[edit]The village has a public library.
