Viktor Svedberg (born May 24, 1991) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Chicago Blackhawks organization of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing career
He played with Frölunda HC of the Elitserien from 2010-11 to 2012–13[1] scoring his first Elitserien goal, a game-winning goal, on September 15 at the Fjällräven Center against Modo Hockey's Mikael Tellqvist.
On October 19, 2013, after playing four AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs, Svedberg was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League to a two-year, entry level contract.[2]
On August 5, 2015, Svedberg and the Blackhawks agreed to a one-year deal.[3] He made his NHL debut on October 9, 2015 and would score his first NHL goal on October 15 against the Washington Capitals.
