Viridasius is a genus of spider endemic to Madagascar. The genus has only one species, Viridasius fasciatus.[1] It was moved from the Ctenidae family to the new Viridasiidae family in 2015.[6] It has long black and white striped legs extending from a body that is white with black spots. Females can grow 2 to 2.5 cm long, but the males are generally smaller.[7]
