WAMI-FM (102.3 FM, "Classic Country 102.3") is a commercial radio station licensed to serve the community of Opp, Alabama, United States. The station is owned by The Opp Broadcasting Co., Inc.

Programming

WAMI-FM broadcasts a classic country music format and features select programming from Citadel Media.[1]

Construction permit

More than two years after the January 2007 initial application, WAMI-FM was granted a construction permit on March 3, 2009, to change its community of license to Fort Deposit, Alabama, upgrade from class A to class C1, increase its effective radiated power to 100,000 watts, raise its broadcast antenna to 218 meters in height above average terrain, and significantly increase its coverage area.[2] This permit expires on March 3, 2012.
