The WCW Light Heavyweight Championship was a short-lived title from 1991 until 1992 in World Championship Wrestling. It preceded the WCW Cruiserweight Championship introduced in 1996, which later became a WWE championship. WWE recognizes former WCW World Light Heavyweight Champions as former WCW/WWE Cruiserweight Champions.

- Vacated September 2, 1992 0 Atlanta, Georgia Clash of the Champions XX: 20th Anniversary Armstrong was stripped of the title due to a knee injury. A tournament was announced to take place in early 1993, but the idea was abandoned. The WCW Light Heavyweight Championship would later be replaced with the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.[5]
