Ward No. 47, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 6, covering parts of Bowbazar neighbourhood in central Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Chowranghee (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[1]
Overview
The boundaries of the ward are: Dr. Lalit Banerjee Sarani and B.B.Ganguly Street are in the north. College Street and Nirmal Chandra Street are to the east. Lal Bazar Street, Lawrence Road, Lenin Sarani and Ganesh Chandra Avenue.are to the south. Chandni Chowk Street Khairu Place, Bow Street and Chittaranjan Avenue are to the west.[2][3]
