Ward No. 48, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 5, covering parts of Bowbazar neighbourhood in central Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Chowranghee (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[1]

Overview

The boundaries of the ward are: Surendra Lal Pyne Lane, Madhu Gupta Lane and Siddheswar Chandra Lane are in the north. Sashi Bhusan Dey Street and Raja Rammohan Sarani are to the east. Hidaram Banerji Lane is to the south. Chandni Chowk Street Khairu Place, College Street is to the west.[2][3]
