Ward No. 83, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 8, covering parts of Kalighat neighbourhood in south Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Rashbehari (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[1]

Overview

The boundaries of the ward are: Hazra Road is in the north. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road is in the east. Rashbehari Avenue is in the south. Tolly’s Nulla (Adi Ganga) is in the west.[2]
