Broomy Hill is a western suburb of the city of Hereford in Herefordshire, England. It is located west of the city centre and north of the River Wye. It is home to the Museum of Cider,[1] Waterworks Museum, Hereford[2] and Hunderton Bridge.[3][4][5]

Waterworks Museum

[edit]

The grade II* listed Broomy Hill pumping station was built in 1856.[6] Since 1974 it has been the Waterworks Museum, Hereford, operated as a registered charity.[7][2][8] The collection includes "the oldest working triple expansion steam engine in the UK".[2]
