Confirmed

User:Racush

Just want to correct some words/phrasing on an article, no intention of vandalizing anything. Racush (talk) 19:38, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Presently, you can currently edit >95% of this encyclopedia. Why do you need to be confirmed? -FASTILY (TALK) 22:53, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just off the top of my head, the article "Cell membrane" has some minor typo, /Forces such as Van der Waal/; I'd like that corrected.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Racush (talkcontribs)

I see you don't take advise well. Mlpearc powwow 23:41, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I do. I have a set criteria for what is obviously going to be closure. I try to compromise. Closures don't need to be done by admins. I only close them when it is obvious they don't need to be. I came up with this criteria by mixing in your advice with my observations about when users are confirmed or not.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 23:48, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This is somewhat disappointing. You asked me to be your mentor and the first piece of advice I gave was to steer clear of this page. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 10:30, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I could still contribute to this page without doing the admin work. For example, as per BWilkins' advice, (Non-administrator comment) are welcome here. This is not to say I am defying you as a mentor of mine. I try to compromise between the advice I receive and my previous way of going about it. However, I'll remove the WP:PERM out of my watchlist and no longer participate.—cyberpower (X-Mas Chat)(Contrib.) 13:24, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done Pages mentioned do have typos that require correction. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 10:30, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting confirmed rights Loveeterne (talk) 17:05, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The page in question is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:71.190.77.2/Love_Eterne_%282010%29. I created this long ago and have forgotten the login info so I created a new account and have been editing and updating the page. I would like the page to be renamed and properly titled "Love Eterne (film)". I would also like to be able to embed film stills. I am the the writer and director of Love Eterne and have all rights to all the content.

I need rights to edit Beyonce Knowles wiki page, if you look at her twitter account. I am one of 10 people that she is following. I am trying to get access for her company The Parkwood Group. Tcherryx (talk) 17:06, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done It appears from your statement that you have a conflict of interest. It would be best if you would use the talk page to discuss he edits you want to make. GB fan 14:30, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem having someone verify my edits. In order to ensure that information is accurately depicted, it would be great if I had access to make quick edits.

I don't feel that you followed the point. Given your conflict of interest, it would be best that you not directly make edit to Beyonce articles. Instead, you should propose edits on the talk pages, so that editors without a conflict can make the decisions regarding inclusion and neutral wording. You do not need to be confirmed to edit the talk pages.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:58, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'll also add that it concerns me when you say that you want access for a company. Please be aware that accounts are intended to be used by individuals, not shared. There are some rare exceptions, but this is not one of the allowable exceptions.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 14:07, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mwhk1966

I would like to upload a picture Mwhk1966 (talk) 13:39, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Can you tell us the subject of the picture you want to upload, what article you want to use the picture in and the copyright status of the picture? GB fan 14:17, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Effid

A clever gentleman. I am very knowledgeable on encyclopedic topics. Thank you. Effid (talk) 22:53, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You can already edit over 95% of the project as your account stands, is their a specific reason you need your account move to confirmed status ? Mlpearc powwow 00:54, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Gerbershagen

Dear administrators, I work at CERN at the Compact Linear Collider project. I would like to do a major rework of CLIC Wikipedia page, incl. uploading .jpg files. With best regards, Gerbershagen (talk) 13:43, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Please be careful, and don't hesitate to ask questions, if you aren't sure how to do anything. A major rewrite of a page is a challenging task for a newcomer. Please take small steps first. Ask me at my talk page if you have any questions, or want some advice.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 14:15, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

lately I have noticed some issues with incorrect information. I would like to change some incorrect lackadaisical information, even if the first few times have to be confirmed.

Thank you very much and happy New Year.

~Tiger.

Currently you can edit 95% of the the pages in the encyclopedia. Are there specific ones you would like to edit that are currently protected? If so can you tell us what they are and what kinds of changes you would like to make to them. Also you can start by editing un-protected pages to show us how you edit. GB fan 23:45, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to edit animal information. I find that some of the information is inadequate in the following topics. Diet, habitat and appearance.

Thank you for your time,

~Tiger.
