Discussion
[edit]If I understand this aright, the main benefit is perhaps the conversion of manually added categories to tagging with a stub template. William Avery (talk) 11:24, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @William Avery: No, the benefit is removing the manually added categories from articles where a stub template isn't necessary. The bot will not save an edit that includes a stub template. GoingBatty (talk) 14:32, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Ah, thanks. I get it now. The edit is only saved if the stub template that the bot adds is removed when AWB general fixes are run. William Avery (talk) 14:38, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Approved for trial (25 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. – SD0001 (talk) 08:03, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @SD0001: Trial complete. Apologies for performing 50 edits instead of the 25 you specified. GoingBatty (talk) 01:50, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Approved. Spot check of edits look fine. Few of the articles are close to being a stub in size, but then applying the category directly is wrong in any case. – SD0001 (talk) 07:32, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
