Function details: Perform a database search for \[\[Category\:([^]]+) stubs\]\] and change it to {{$1-stub}}. If AWB's general fixes then removes the stub template(s) due to the length of the article, the bot will save the edit (e.g. this edit). If not, it will skip the article for manual review. If I understand this aright, the main benefit is perhaps the conversion of manually added categories to tagging with a stub template. William Avery (talk) 11:24, 27 June 2021 (UTC)

@William Avery: No, the benefit is removing the manually added categories from articles where a stub template isn't necessary. The bot will not save an edit that includes a stub template. GoingBatty (talk) 14:32, 27 June 2021 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. I get it now. The edit is only saved if the stub template that the bot adds is removed when AWB general fixes are run. William Avery (talk) 14:38, 27 June 2021 (UTC)

 Approved. Spot check of edits look fine. Few of the articles are close to being a stub in size, but then applying the category directly is wrong in any case. – SD0001 (talk) 07:32, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
