Maybe fix it so it doesn't have such egregious page-widening? Q T C 23:42, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I am not sure what you are talking about. Neither Wikipedia:OP nor any of the bot's subpages have been widened (I just rechecked the latest few subpages, but I don't remember any of the subpages being widened when I looked at them after they were created). The bot uses the standard Clerk note: template, so I can't imagine how it has been widened. You need to be more specific. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 23:48, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Mybad, on the Sandbox subpage somebody threw in some pre-tags. Missed that section and thought it was the links that were doing it. On a related note, can you rename the links so the contributions and block show up as ( Contributions - Block ) instead of giving the title? ie { Special:Contributions/216.145.90.218 | Special:Blockip/216.145.90.218 ) Q T C 00:01, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Well last time I checked this was the ClueBot IV BRFA, and the only Sandbox mentioned here was this page. In the second report after the example, the links to Special:Contributions and Special:Blockip. EG: ([[Special:Contributions/68.46.156.238|Contributions]] | [[Special:Blockip/68.46.156.238|Block IP]]) Q T C 06:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- The sandbox was a duplicate of Wikipedia:OP. It was so the bot wouldn't screw up the real Wikipedia:OP during testing. That post you are referring to was by ClueBot, not ClueBot IV. (See it is even signed by ClueBot, not ClueBot IV.) If you want that message changed, I can do that, but you see why that is confusing, asking for a change of ClueBot on ClueBot IV's BRFA? -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 17:18, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
