[edit]Hi, can you please state the requested edit per time? Also, be aware that future tasks, unlike in other wikis, require approval here. Thank you in advance, Snowolf How can I help? 18:47, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Question: Which interwiki? <DREAMAFTER> <TALK> 21:25, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
{{OperatorAssistanceNeeded}} The above, and what exactly does the bot do?--Phoenix-wiki talk · contribs 21:28, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- The bot updates or add interwiki, that seems clear to me. What else could it do with interwikis? Snowolf How can I help? 21:33, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- What I mean is, which interwiki links would it add? de... or fr... or something else... <DREAMAFTER> <TALK> 01:05, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My answer: Sorry, I don't know how to state the edit rate. For the task, now I wish to update InterWiki - add, modify and remove! Which is all the tasks about InterWiki. But As I keep learning to use a robot, I may even perform a task temporary, which is fixing links from my signatures, for I've changed my name twice! For which InterWiki, it is all. --King Edmund of the Woods (talk) 04:59, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I suggest you have a read of Wikipedia:Bots. The edit rate is the maximum number of edits you will perform per minute. On english wikipedia, you need seperate approval for every task you want to do. Changing user signatures would not be approved. Which language do you want to edit interwiki links to? -- maelgwn - talk 09:04, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As I've said, all languages of InterWiki. And for signature, it is because I want all my signatures to link directly to my userpage under my new name. This process will likely to flood the recentchanges because I have signed so many things!--King Edmund of the Woods (talk) 09:15, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- As I said, changing your signature is not allowed. All languages is not an appropriate request, operators should have a knowledge of the language there are creating links to and from so they can check them when required. -- maelgwn - talk 11:22, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Do you have an account on a different Wikipedia? You could change links from there. <DREAMAFTER> <TALK> 11:33, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- No way on a signature changing bot, just #REDIRECT your old page. — xaosflux Talk 01:36, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, if the previous username was similar to the real name, this request makes some sense. MaxSem(Han shot first!) 09:39, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- No way on a signature changing bot, just #REDIRECT your old page. — xaosflux Talk 01:36, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What I intend to do is, at least change the linking of all my old signatures under my first username, link directly to my current name, an then request the userpage under my first username to be deleted. For accounts in other languages, please refer to the InterWiki links in the userpage. --King Edmund of the Woods (talk) 16:04, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- For that one, I say Denied. I say this, I say this because you should just have the other page redirected to your new page. <DREAMAFTER> <TALK> 22:38, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
