I direct the Digital Media Center at Rice University, where I help students, faculty and staff create multimedia and use digital resources in their research. I edit the Digital Research Tools (DiRT) wiki and author a blog called "Digital Scholarship in the Humanities." I'm looking forward to working as a Campus Ambassador.
I am a freelance programmer/web designer/consultant currently living in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated with a BA in Economics from Yale University. I am also a certified high school mathematics teacher, and have an interest in the role of online collaboration in education. I have been editing the English Wikipedia since March 2005 and have been an administrator since January 2007.
