Ye[edit]

Ye is the eighth studio album by American rapper Kanye West. It was released on June 1, 2018, through GOOD Music and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. The album and the accompanying singles mostly brought West critical and commercial success. I am nominating this for a good topic after having worked hard on all of the articles and brought them to GA status in relatively close periods during the past year or so, with thanks to the likes of Zmbro and LOVI33 for helping promote a number of them. I have read through them all recently and fixed any issues that were present even after the GA reviews, therefore I believe collectively they can become a GA topic after all the hard work. --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:12, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - This definitely deserves to be a featured topic. Great job on making all the articles GA! The Ultimate Boss (talk) 20:25, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support with comments Firstly, on "No Mistakes" there is a website called "Moms.com", which doesn't strike as reliable source, it does look like a blog. The editoral team has no other pieces featured on more reliable source/other websites. On top of that, the writer of that piece has only written for blogs. Moreover, I want to draw attention to the usage of the thumbnail of the lyric videos on "All Mine" and "Violent Crimes" on the cover, as I can't see how it is important and "appropriate for the song", per Template:Infobox song "Add an image of a sheet music cover, picture sleeve, or other image appropriate for the song", other songs which don't have cover arts don't feature thumbnail of lyrics videos so this two articles shouldn't be an exception. Otherwise, great work, mainly on the songs showing their notability through the use of independent, reliable sources. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:00, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • MarioSoulTruthFan Thanks for delivering suggestions, the lyric videos have been fixed and I replaced Moms.com with a fully professional source, plus I'm sure you will be happy to see that "All Mine" now has the addition of a sourced genre. --K. Peake 19:52, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kyle Peake You are welcome and good job. But you do say "industrial elements" in the lead, so it is more of an influence than a genre. The source does say "industrial screeches", so I'm a bit on the fence here. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:50, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • MarioSoulTruthFan Since it is obviously a reliable source and notable, should I keep the info in prose but remove the genre from infobox? --K. Peake 06:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • MarioSoulTruthFan Have fixed now and edited the prose slightly, sure there are not any more issues or do you fully support now? --K. Peake 14:18, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
