From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Join University of Victoria Libraries and the Electronic Textual Cultures Laboratory for a wikipedia edit-a-thon and help us contribute to Wikipedia articles on the Social Justice collections from Special Collections and University Archives.

Want to learn more about how to use Wikipedia? Join us, along with librarians, archivists, and UVic Libraries' resident Wikipedian Dr. Christian Vandendorpe, to learn how to use and create Wikipedia entries, particularly as it relates to issues of social justice, and using materials from the University of Victoria's Archives and Special Collections. Free. All welcome!

This event is part of a SSHRC-supported speaker series Unravelling the Code(x): History of the Book, an interdisciplinary series that explores book history scholarship and the creation, circulation, and reception of knowledge.
