Wikipedia:Meetup/Toronto/RULA
Ryerson University Library & Archives will host a meetup on Wednesday 22nd of August from 12-5 pm. We will be focusing on creating and improving articles on Indigenous women.
Event description
[edit]This event is part of a project to create, update, and improve Wikipedia articles pertaining to the lives and works of Indigenous women in Canada. We are also participating in this month's Wikiproject: Women in Red campaign.
All are invited, with no specialized knowledge of the subject or Wikipedia editing experience required. A brief overview of the basics of Wikipedia editing will be given at the start of the edit-a-thon. We will have a library resources and a list of suggested articles will be on hand.

- Cost: Free
- What to bring: Computer stations will be available for participants but you can bring a laptop or tablet if you are more comfortable using your own equipment.
- Participants: Open to all!
Location and transportation
[edit]The meetup will be held in the ILC lab on the main floor of the Ryerson University Library.
Ryerson Library is located at the corner of Gould and Victoria Streets and can be accessed by the TTC Dundas subway stop.
