Join us for a morning edit-a-thon at Newman Library, Room 207 at Virginia Tech!

In collaboration with Women in Architecture global edit-a-thon hosted by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, Virginia Tech Art + Architecture Library and Newman Library host this event to enhance and create pages related to women in architecture. Newman Library houses the International Archive of Women in Architecture

What, Where, and When?

What? Editors of all experience levels are invited to:

  1. Learn about contributing and improving Wikipedia articles
  2. Help work on articles related to women in architecture, particularly on structures and biographies.
  3. Bring any reference materials you'd like to use and share!

Where? Newman Library, Room 207 at Virginia Tech, 560 Drillfield Drive, Blacksburg.

When? Thursday, October 15th from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

What else do I need to know?

  • Please register an account prior to the event if you do not have one yet. There are many benefits to having an account, like being able to make your own username and track your contributions.
  • Please bring your own laptops and power cords if you are able. Laptops are available to borrow, but please bring your own if you can.
