Why do you want to be a Wikipedia Ambassador?
I want to Become an Ambassador so that I can be a part of this Non- Profit Organization and also impart knowledge to improve all projects in Wikipedia. I'm self motivated and can take up this responsibility.
In three sentences or less, summarize your involvement with Wikimedia projects.
I have recently started editing in Wikipedia, an already feel addicted. I edit in English, Hindi & Marathi Languages. Have also started few Articles. I am an active member of Wikipedia Club Pune, participated & hosted- Wikipedia Takes Pune, and now looking forward for the upcoming project- "WikiWomen Day" and "Wikipedia Summit 2013" to be held in Pune.

What do you see as the most important ways we could welcome newcomers or help new users become active contributors?
Creating an awareness that editing is not difficult and similarly motivate them to contribute!

I am regularly active.
How would you make sure your students were not violating copyright laws?
By creating an awareness of Intellectual Property Rights.
If one of your students had an issue with copyright violation how would resolve it?
I would resolve by creating an awareness of Intellectual Property Rights.

Copyright Violation is unauthorised use text/logos/pictures etc violating the rules of Intellectual Property Rights.

Support Active WikiWomen from Wikipedia Club Pune, She is also primary organizer for WikiWomenDay and was key person for Wikipedia Takes Pune.

We welcome you Ketaki Pole, and are happy to hear you want to explore Wikipedia more. But an ambassador has to answer complicated questions about policy and formatting, and it takes time to learn the many ins and outs.
