I've listed this article for peer review because I am hoping to take it to a good article nomination. Lots of Indians folks have reviewed and I think its time for an outside perspective.

- Familiarise yourself with WP:DASH - scores, year ranges etc need to be separated by en-dash not hyphen, so 3–1 not 3-1, for instance.
- Done OK I think i got all the right ones. Montco (talk) 23:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- "The Indians are the reigning American League Central Champions." - needs time context (e.g. as of June 2008...)

- Prove the nickname The Wahoos. There are no citations.
- Tough one. There is no specific reference saying "They are called the Wahoos too" And my dad will tell you that no self-respecting Tribe fan would call us that. But there are some minor Ohio-area papers that have used the name Medina County Gazette of the Ashtabula Star Beacon that use it. Ots also been used informally by in blogs for The Sporting News and the Cleveland Plain Dealer which I would consider (even in a blog format) to be reasonably reliable. - More references are required - I'd expect to see probably four times as many, and each should correctly use the {{cite web}} template for a good, consistent appearance.
- "professional NA" is this the same as " National Association of Professional Base Ball Players"? Take care to define acronyms and abbreviations before using them. Also, is "N.A. " the same? Be consistent with acronyms etc too.

- "supposedly inspired by their long-limbed players" this sort of claim needs citation or it's original research.

- Avoid contractions - didn't should be did not etc..
- Done Not so hard. Montco (talk) 23:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- "... finally slinking home..." - a bit POV.
- Done Absolutely right. Blame me for that one. Montco (talk) 23:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- "In 1901,Napoleon "Nap" Lajoie, " space needed.

- Place citations immediately after punctuation if possible, per WP:CITE. e.g. [6] has a space before it.

- "rubber-faced" - needs citation or it's OR again.

- Avoid overlinking - Gabe Paul is linked twice in two consecutive paras in one section.

- What does the caption "Then-Jacobs Field" mean?
- Serious lack of citation for all the claims in the article - you need references for scores, season stats, percentages, costs etc.
- "fan favorite" prove it.
- Done Check on Colavito, removed Alomar pending a source. Montco (talk) 23:47, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- None of the radio and television section has references.
- I hate succession boxes but that's personal - there are far too many here for me and it makes the article appear much longer.
- Me too! But that's not necessarily a battle I will win on this round unless its an absolute bar to GA status. Montco (talk) 23:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
That's a start for you. Good luck! The Rambling Man (talk) 16:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's the easy stuff. I need to spend some time looks for refs. But I appreciate your input. Montco (talk) 00:08, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
