Freak Out, Oblivion, night[edit]

Using long shutter speeds can be used to achieve interesting effects for photographing objects with moving lights at night.

I really like this picture; it meets size requirements (barely), is of high quality, and catches the eye. My only question is about the copyright. It says that the image is copyrighted to an Andrew Dunn, but it's also under Creative Commons, so I'm not sure which one is the valid copyright. I have the feeling this isn't a valid FPC, but I thought I'd try. This picture was also nominated on Wikimedia Commons here; appears in Photography, Shutter speed, and Motion blur, and Solipsist uploaded the image.

  • CC vs Copyright - both can be valid. To be precise, Creative Commons is a licensing system which depends on copyright; the copyright owner of an image releases it under a CC license. Presumably, Solipsist is Andrew Dunn, since all his uploads seem to say "Copyright Andrew Dunn" (it'd sure make life easier if people would be more clear about that sort of thing).
