Is there any reason why an optical audio cable for PS2 wouldn't work with other applications?[edit]

I have an old Intec brand optical audio cable made for the Sony PlayStation 2 still in it's original package. It says it is not for use with the PSone, but makes no mention of other applications. From what I'm reading the PS2 used a pretty standard optical audio cable the same as DVD players and such. Is there any reason why this cable would not work with other applications? 71.208.85.2 (talk) 00:27, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that is a Toslink cabl and it should work with any Toslink socket. If it doesn't work check a youtube about cleaning the ends. NadVolum (talk) 11:49, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In fact have a quick look or clean anyway before sticking it in to see there's no dirt! NadVolum (talk) 11:53, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It says not for use with the PSone because the PSone didn't have optical audio out. 98.116.249.122 (talk) 18:38, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Google maps[edit]

How do (Can?) I add (and later delete) locations (click on map or enter address or type longitude/latitude) so that they get saved (as favourites?) for later use in google maps on the web and on the android app? -- SGBailey (talk) 06:39, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A simple approach that generally works with other map applications as well is to save the url, like this one for Stoke Park Paddling Pool in Guilford.  --Lambiam 11:01, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
From the desktop, click on the address you wish to save. When you do, a window slides open with options to look for directions, save, find stuff nearby, etc. If you click "save", it will appear with a little star. You may have to be logged in to Google for it to work. Matt Deres (talk) 23:20, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
