Black Eyed Peas: Shut Up[edit]

I'm not able to find any plausible explanation for the fact that "Shut Up", nota bene an American song, topped charts all over the world, whether or not English-speaking countries, but was an utter failure in the USA. Can anyone help me? --KnightMove 14:33, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Wikipedia article, this song was not even released as a single in the US, so I'm not sure how you would really be able to measure "success"... Carom 15:17, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, as in my native wikipedia songs do not get their own articles, I've missed this. But then I'd like to know, for what reason did they not release it?! --KnightMove 16:12, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The reason cited in the article is the success of the previous single, Where is the Love?, although I can't speak to the accuracy of that statement. Carom 20:30, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Google turns up the lyrics to one song off the album [1], but apparently no others. Hope that helps. Algebraist 15:44, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

flashing blade music[edit]

Sorry to bother you but there was a tv series shown in britain translated from french called the flashing blade.Ther are a few websites for it and also a mention on wiki. I am trying to find out who was responsible for the theme tune (english version)It started out with the line "You`ve got to fight for what you`ve got".

No mention anywhere as regards to who composed or sang the english version main theme, any info would be greatly appreciated —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.101.51.130 (talk) 20:53, 13 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
