vehicles in NCIS

[edit]

I've seen two official vehicles used by members of the NCIS team on NCIS (TV series). What types of vehicles are they?24.90.204.234 (talk) 20:18, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For questions like this, I like to consult the Internet Movie Cars DataBase. Searching there brought me to this page and since I don't watch the show, I can't identify just which cars you're referring to. But the link may help you out. And if you ever have a question about the firearms used in a movie or television show, let me introduce you to the Internet Movie Firearms DataBase. Dismas|(talk) 04:29, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I once heard that vehicles used in filming are intentionally non-discript models with insigna removed because they don't know which car company may buy commercials during the airing. I don't know if this helps.--Canoe1967 (talk) 09:38, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That may be true in some cases but they're still regular production cars since the film company normally doesn't have the budget to custom build vehicles. And since they're normal cars, someone out there can ID them just be looking. But more often nowadays films and TV shows are using regular production cars and naming them in the show. Just last night I watched an episode of Eureka where the characters specifically referred to a Subaru and it was right there on the screen all bright and shiny. This was also done in an episode of Heroes ("Oh Dad! The Rogue!!). Dismas|(talk) 15:21, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I usually see them in either a Dodge Charger or a Chevy Malibu. Llamabr (talk) 00:53, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, my question is in reference to the vehicles used by the major case response team and the medical examiner.24.90.204.234 (talk) 19:17, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I watched it last night and the tracks sounded awesome but I don't know the names of the songs, if it helps the episode also partially parodies Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.107.206.236 (talk) 20:49, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
