Ted Nugent Page Bias

I recently heard a story on the news about Ted Nugent, so I decided to look him up on here. At the end of the first part of the page, someone wrote:

"His current role as resident racist is underscored by despicable comments about the reckless murder of Trayvon Martin by cold-blooded killer Zimmerman and Stevie Wonder's crusade to end "Stand your ground laws".

This is obviously bias, and it needs to be changed. I tried to change it, but I believe that may be on of the protected pages in which some users cannot edit. If you could change that as soon as possible, it would be appreciated.

I didn't see a tangent, either (this time, anyway). But, at the risk of my own, I'll point out that Nugent is pointing out a racist hypocrisy perpetuated by the media, not himself (white-on-black is hot news, black-on-black is police beat). That's not to say he is or isn't racist, but his comments don't seem (to me) to suggest it. The story arguably does, but that's more relevant to the Huffington Post article, not Nugent's. The point of view should be neutral, not portraying anyone positively or negatively. It is the policy, whether you agree with someone or not, regardless of whether it is right or wrong. Here is another example of bias. Referring to Norm Green by the nickname "Faggy Magoo". Making a comment like Woodrow Wilson was a hero is also biased. Such comments do nott belong in articles. The jury's decision authorizes anyone to use a gun at any time he feels "threatened", despite the obvious "setup" in this case. Zimmerman was told to let the police handle it, and he ignored that order. He never told the kid who he was, never announced he had a gun. He was looking to shoot the kid at the slightest provocation, and as one juror said, "He got away with murder" due to prosecution incompetence. Just to be clear, I don't think Nugent is right in his assessment of the verdict. Martin got screwed, in my opinion. Just don't see how that makes Nugent a racist. Of course, when you disagree with a "generally accepted" position like this, you get all sorts of vitriolic reaction. If the issue is terrorism, you get called a terrorist. Sure, but we're all somewhere on the racist (and specist) spectrum. Where to draw the line and call someone a racist is more of an art than a science. I see. I can vouch for the disdain Minnesota hockey fans have for this Green character. The short version is that he moved the team in order to escape a sexual harassment problem. The hardest articles to keep unbiased are those about people who go out their way to express views at an extreme of the spectrum of public opinion. That's obviously the case for the people mentioned here. Our articles should describe the views accurately, but not comment on them. Such views usually speak for themselves. What about Theodore G. Bilbo? Is it fine to refer to him as a racist, or does it violate the NPOV rule? He was a KKK member who tried to block anti-lynching bills and hated Jews. He also said something about doing everything that must be done to prevent minorities from voting (meaning he advocated lynching). Bilbo seems to have been extremely racist to me. I don't recall ever hearing a racist call themselves that. Reading more about this ~~Dildo~~ Bilbo character, he was actually a champion of the underdog in many ways, and if he weren't such a virulent racist (among his other long list of prejudices and grudges), he could have been considered a great politician. Have you looked at our Lil Jon discography article? Your question is a bit subjective, so you may have the best results counting for yourself.
