[edit]Lucy in a 1960s kitchen sink drama?
[edit]My dad has always said that I was named after a character in a 60s movie but cannot remember which one. I've had a look and none match the description, any ideas?
Named Lucy, railway driver's wife, plain looking and middle age (thanks Dad) in a 1960s film that he watched in the 80s. We think it was a kitchen sink type film set in the North of England 2A02:6B61:D05A:0:3CFE:B39A:3843:C322 (talk) 17:44, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Perhaps The Family Way? Has a middle-aged character called Lucy Fitton played by Marjorie Rhodes. Also boasts a soundtrack by Paul McCartney, funnily enough. There's an exhaustively detailed plot summary, and even a photo of Lucy, here. --Viennese Waltz 18:23, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Gah, I wish the OP would come back and tell me if that's the right answer. I spent ages researching that. Viennese Waltz 08:34, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
