[edit]Menu Bar
[edit]Your Main Page has no menu items such as Save File. Please add the menu bar ala Internet Explorer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fadbel (talk • contribs) 02:16, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- What specifically are you trying to do? If you tell us, maybe someone here can help you. --Jayron32 02:26, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- I suspect Fadbel is looking for a discussion group for his/her webbrowser, not Wikipedia (and I can't remember the standard template for this). Fadbel, assuming you are using Microsoft Windows, try pressing the F10 key, this should make the menu appear. Somewhere in the settings there should be an option to make it always visible. - From the wording, we may deduce that Fadbel wants a browser with a menu bar LIKE the one that Internet Explorer has...the most popular browsers are Chrome, Firefox and Explorer - and Firefox has a menu bar - so I presume that our OP is using Chrome and wondering why functions like "Save" are in the little menu button over on the top-right corner (it's drawn as three horizontal lines - click on it and you'll find "Save" and a bunch of other functions that would be in the menu bar in IE or Firefox. I don't think there is a way to get a menu bar in Chrome.
- Either way, this is nothing to do with Wikipedia. SteveBaker (talk) 16:17, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

Hugh Carey, Former Governor of New York
[edit]Does anyone know who Governor Carey's siblings were? Was Oliver Carey, former President of the New York Dock Compnay, a brother of or relative of Hugh Carey? Thanks. Scott Hand — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.116.241.211 (talk) 17:40, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- This site [1] has a thorough biography of Carey and mentions five brothers and 14 children, but not one named Oliver. I couldn't find any personal information about Oliver except for his service as NYDC president, 1964-72. [2] --Xuxl (talk) 13:57, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
