Motorway exitlist site

[edit]

Is there any English-language site which would have exitlists of motorways from all over the world? --40bus (talk) 07:23, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia articles on individual motorways make a pretty good go of that. Was there anything in those articles you couldn't find? --Viennese Waltz 08:10, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Chinese expressways have exitlists only for expressways G1-G15. --40bus (talk) 09:31, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can follow the roads on Google Maps and work out at least the location and destination of each exit ramp. I can't find a source for exit numbers, however, but that's at least a start. --Jayron32 11:21, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Previously there was a site called motorways-exitlists.com, but it no longer exists. It was used as reference in many Wikipedia articles in many language versions. There is no similar site. --40bus (talk) 06:49, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's still accessible on archive.org. --Viennese Waltz 08:00, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Link to the latest version I saw, of 26 July 2018: https://web.archive.org/web/20180726112255/http://motorways-exitlists.com:80/.  --Lambiam 10:51, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Why it was closed? --40bus (talk) 06:35, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea. Websites come and go all the time as the people who maintained them move onto other things in life. If you're really interested in following up on this question, there's an email address for the site administrator on the archived homepage. Seeing as it hasn't been updated for four years, though, your chances of a reply are slim at best. --Viennese Waltz 09:51, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The domain name of that email address is up for sale. In 2015, the person held a function as Director General of the Division Road Transport and Roads of the Slovakian Ministry of Transport[1]. A later appearance (2020) is as member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Road Administration of Bratislava, in spite of the public name apparently a joint stock company.[2]  --Lambiam 21:04, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
