Question about Wiktionary[edit]
If Wiktionary recognizes multiple definitions for the same word, how does it determine which order those definitions are listed in (aside from the sorting by etymology and part of speech)? Primal Groudon (talk) 06:53, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

- In practice, the order is determined by the editor who added the definitions and any later editors who reorder them. Wiktionary' s style guide is a collection of recommendations, not a policy. Not all editors follow (or are even aware of) it. --Lambiam 08:43, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
