Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2011 July 17
Hi guys, I'd really appreciate some feedback on this - this is my first submission to wikipedia and the whole markup thing is quite confusing. If you can afford the time, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on anyhting I could do to increase the chances of it being accepted.

I have commented on the talk page of the draft. Bielle (talk) 02:03, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
This is my first contribution and I think I've been pretty thorough both in meeting the standard of notability and in formatting correctly. I just want to be sure. Please let me know if I've missed the standard and what would help me achieve it, and if I've done anything wrong or weird and could do it better on my next attempt. Thank you very much for your help!

- Some advice: Do not place external links in the body of the article. See WP:EL. Do not put spaces between <ref> tags. The article also needs more sources for the career subsection. Remember that this is a biography, and sources are very important. Offline sources are acceptable. Other than that, formatting looks good.-- Obsidi♠n Soul 05:49, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
This is my first attempt at creating a biographical article from scratch, so would appreciate any feedback, please. Butcherscross (talk) 18:35, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

- Article looks good. :) But please do not put external links in the body of the article. They should be placed at the end of the article in an ==External links== section. See WP:EL. -- Obsidi♠n Soul 05:52, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
- Many thanks for the feedback, User talk:Obsidian Soul! I'll get the external links moved, as suggested, over the weekend. Much appreciated! Butcherscross (talk) 09:07, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
I would appreciate any feedback the community has to offer regarding this new short article. Thanks!

- Please provide more reliable sources for the article. You must be able to show notability by providing evidence of significant, third party coverage from reliable sources. Failure to do so can result in it being deleted.
- Searching in google though, returns numerous very good sources that you should be able to use. She is notable. You just have to show it. :)
- Also see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners with citation templates to make your references section more human-readable.-- Obsidi♠n Soul 05:56, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
Please review this article for submission. I am a new user and do not have moving authority.

- Please provide references. See WP:Referencing for beginners for help on how to, and see WP:Verifiability for the reasons why you need to. Please also see Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). The subject must meet the criteria outlined in that page before an article about the organization can be created.
- At this moment, moving the article to mainspace will most likely result in deletion. Please browse through the links I have provided in your talk page to learn the basics of Wikipedia first. -- Obsidi♠n Soul 06:04, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
