Wnt (talk · contribs) - this project is presently marked as inactive, yet there's considerable interest in WP:Surveillance awareness day. I'm exploring whether this project can be revived to focus in part on issues of mass surveillance and its impact on personal privacy and freedom of speech.^[1] Wnt (talk) 05:36, 21 January 2014 (UTC) It looks like most of the people from recent conversations have opted in favor of the new and definitely active WP:WikiProject Mass Surveillance, and since my interest is also in that direction, it makes more sense for me to go that way. Things You Can Do

Develop common standards and formats for pages on intelligence and information gathering.
Expand the number of articles on intelligence and information gathering.
Explore technical, social, and political aspects of mass surveillance
Coordinate with WP:Surveillance awareness day to cover topics of popular interest.
