See [[1]] Unfortunately the official maps did not show all routes, so information is somewhat incomplete. USGS topos are used for many of the details.

  • New Mexico State Road 14: existed (former route went from US 80 (now NM 80) to Arizona; now part of I-10; current route was numbered 10, ironically enough)
  • New Mexico State Road 15: existed (former route was on current 55; north segment renumbered to 55, rest transferred to an extension of 10; current route was numbered 25 to current 35, and 527 north of there)
  • New Mexico State Road 16: former 22 (former route was from US 64 in Farmington to Farmington Airport)
  • New Mexico State Road 19: existed (former route went from US 84 to Chama; became an extension of 17 (17 went along current US 64 and 170 to Colorado); before that this was part of US 285, and NM 19 went from Colorado to Shiprock; this became part of US 550 but was cosigned for a few years)
  • New Mexico State Road 25: went from Silver City to Red Rock; extended north and truncated; now 15 and 35 from US 180 to 61
  • New Mexico State Road 33: former 4 Spur (NM 502 north via County Road 84D) (old route went from White Sands to Elk)
  • New Mexico State Road 35: existed (former route was from SH 41 southwest to a dead end)
  • New Mexico State Road 46: existed (but renumbered as extensions of 448 and 528)
  • New Mexico State Road 49: existed (but renumbered as rerouting of 6)
  • New Mexico State Road 55: existed (old routing went from Cuba to Aztec; became part of 44 (which previously went on what was later 403; current route was numbered 15)
  • New Mexico State Road 57: existed (old routing went from northwest of Bueyeros to Sedan; current route was numbered 56)
  • New Mexico State Road 79: former NM 4 Spur (NM 502 north via County Road 101E) (old route went from NM 81 west to Cloverdale)
  • New Mexico State Road 86: existed (but merged with 252 and rest eliminated)
  • New Mexico State Road 92: existed (old routing went along current 114; renumbered to 116 in 1955 and 114 in 1973; current route was numbered 82)
