Introduction to methodologies in art history and research: how to navigate archives, collections, libraries, and art bibliographies to obtain peer-reviewed art historical scholarship. We will engage in critical reading and analysis, and learn practices of writing for art history. As a final project, this class will create well-researched articles on artists and art collectives who do not currently appear in Wikipedia.
