Latest Club Updates
[edit]- Hope you had a good Halloween!
- The English Wikipedia is celebrating its 5 millionth article!
- Our weekly workshop is happening again on Thursday, November 5 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM in Thompson Library Room 051. We've pushed the event back 30 minutes from previous weeks, since that seems to work better with peoples' schedules. Chips will be provided to snack on - and remember to bring a laptop! These workshops are open for anyone to attend, and this is a great chance to meet others, ask questions, get editing help, and help each other. If you haven't edited before, we'll get you set up!
- To make things more interesting and educational this week, we'll start this week's workshop with Wikipedia news and an interesting article. We'll also cover how to add an infobox to an article; we can then work together to add and update articles that need them.
