Upcoming Dates

  • Weekly Workshop (Wednesday, March 2 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the 18th Avenue Library Room 350A): Join us to discuss Wikipedia, learn how to edit, and contribute together. All experience levels are welcome! We'll have pizza, drinks, and goodies. At this workshop, we'll be discussing new changes to the organization's constitution; discussing officer positions and applications; and reviewing and preparing for the upcoming Art+Feminism Edit-A-Thon.
  • Art+Feminism Edit-A-Thon (Saturday, March 5 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Research Commons Main Colloquium Room in the 18th Avenue Library): A fun, inclusive one-day event that brings together diverse communities to create and improve Wikipedia articles related to women in the arts. Food, refreshments, and raffle prizes will be available. RSVP is not required, but appreciated - please do so here.

Latest Club Updates

  • Check out our accomplishments at last week's workshop, which include two new articles and additions to the Ohio State University portal!
  • We'll be discussing some important things at this week's workshop on March 2, so try to come if you can! Things we'll talk about include:
    • Reviewing and preparing for the upcoming Art+Feminism Edit-A-Thon on Saturday, March 5
    • Reviewing and voting on the approval of some changes to our constitution. Now that the club has been active for a year and we have seen how we best function, we have made some changes to officer positions, how officers are selected, and some other minor changes.
    • Discussing the new officer positions, and informing members on how to apply for positions.
  • This Saturday is our Art+Feminism Edit-A-Thon! Join us on March 5 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Main Colloquium Room of the Research Commons in the 18th Avenue Library. We'll be improving Wikipedia's coverage of women and the arts. Anyone with an interest is welcome to join, regardless of editing experience. Prior to the event, participants are encouraged to create an account and choose a subject or two to work on. If you're interested in coming, please RSVP here - we'll be sending out an email with more details soon. As mentioned before, we'll also be discussing the edit-a-thon at this week's workshop on March 2 - try to come if you can!
  • Next week, at our Workshop on March 9, we'll be electing our officers for the next year. Stay tuned for more details.
