Made with class software
[edit]The template for this page presumes that this will be used by students in a class, perhaps at a university. I think it will work well at this meeting. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:08, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- I would be interested to compare notes with our use for our Cinema editathon. In the meantime please note:
- The results for this event were negligible because the software cuts off on the last day. I added lots of pages worked on two days later, but they did not come up in the stats. I suppose this good for assessed classes because it means the data cannot be adjusted afterwards, but it's good to know about before hand.
- I don't think people can unenroll after they have enrolled.
- that's all for now Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 10:02, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
- Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) In the end the class results were kept at Wikipedia:WikiProject Women's History/NIH Women’s History Month Edit-a-Thon 2015. There is more trouble doing tracking there and it is unlikely that I will transfer those results to any kind of metrics page. I still like the idea of using these systems for one-day events but it did not happen in this case.
- Can you link to your cinema event? Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:47, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
